I kneel in the nights
before tigers
that will not let me be.

Superb Hanan!
Kneeling is underrated...we must not fault a silly tiger who wakes up late and can't fall asleep with the rest of us

finally someone agreeing with me (with the poet, of course)
you know, tigers have their own ways... :)

besides, kneeling can be so natural, like when we kneel at the baby's bed, or we kneel at the feet of the beloved to put our head on his lap.

Magnificent! I see a portrait but maybe you represent something else. That's the beauty of your art...that everyone sees what they want to see. :)
Have you tried your remove the white area? It's just a friendly advice, please don´t misunderstand. I love your work. You are one of my favorite artists in the world.

you're as sweet as always, my dear Eva :)
it's my face and i couldn't make abstraction of it even if i wanted.
it started without the white area, and something bothered me in the composition, it was weak without being able to decide what was the problem. i experimented different frames until this one suited me.
i'm aware it's not a "professional approach" but you know me :giggle)
i rely mostly on my eye and my feeling.

Vraiment superbe ...
