once when posting my own images i had strong impression of one of your selfportraits - with eyes like ink doodle , sepia color and broken surface - i don´t even remember which pictures i was posting , those qualities are in so many of mine too , but it was because of visual similarity i was remindet of this . i didn´t remember the title and i had impression there was only one you in the picture , but when i came looking i noticed it must be this one i saw in my mind when posting - unless there´s similar picture in your blog or somewhere else in your galleries .
well, hugging myself, that was quite an achievement
i don't know which one you're referring to, portraits have always similarities, mine are always more or less like paintings. and there is rarely one me i have a whole series of those on my blog, obtained with long exposure and movement, holding a plastic sheet in front of my face (that's what gave the cracked surface)
hmm ... yeah - working much with art , working with it all the time doesn´t necessarily mean being creative all the time . there´s bound to be repetation , then art is more practice than creation , but creation comes in time working or not ... working all the time means just more pictures , not necessarily more ideas . but there´s always chance to get new angle to used ideas
I did see a "malevolent presence", but rejected the thought. I am simple, and would hope only good things for you. It is difficult sometimes to separate the message from its creator. There is a theraputic reason why we let go of our masks, for good or ill, it helps us on our journey.
