3 weeks ago i decided that i will give it a try, i brought my shoebox where i have everything, and the envelops of scraps, and those that you sent me too, and i spent many days going through them and nothing came. i cut and cut but could not glue a single thing. i thing the blockage is still here. but it's also here for photography. though not as dramatic. photos are much more passive, i feel they happen by themselves. not true probably, but it helps me to think so.
I know exactly what you mean. It's also the comfort level, too. I feel fluid with paper even when things are tough, whereas photography (other than the scrapbook-type pictures I snap of family things and such) is always intimidating. But that's because I work with paper almost every day, so my hands know what to do even if I don't. I suspect that's true of your hands and the camera as well.
